Series

Small Storms

This series of small pieces was created using collage as the primary medium. It explores texture, color, and the abstract forms that emerge from fluid media.

New Islands

Nations are creating new islands almost as fast as we are losing them  due to climate change. This series of alcohol ink, watercolor and collage explores what makes islands special and how we place value on land—new and old.

Terra Invisibilia

This series is explores humanity’s impact on the landscape and the land’s impact on us. These paintings were created with hot wax (encaustic), screenprinting, and photography.

Encaustic Mixed Media

Abstracted landscapes and figures emerge from fields of color and mechanical and organic marks, all sealed beneath a smooth surface of wax. Partially obscured layers hint at each piece’s history, creating a sense of depth behind the primary forms.
